See The Horror For Yourself

I'm sorry, my heart is so broken right now.

There has been plenty of pain in my heart during me time on this earth, but I literally feel sick from sadness. I just don't understand how anyone can believe that it is alright to rip a baby limb from limb just because the mother doesn't want it. I don't want to be around some people either... does that mean that I can kill them?

Listen to this audio clip from Vicki McKenna's radio show. It's based out of Madison where this bill has just been passed. She's talking to an abortionist and he describes the process of late term abortions in detail. It made me sick. I listened to it a half hour ago and I'm still crying. If you can hear this and see the pictures without being effected, then I just don't understand how you can live with yourself.

This is the audio clip

Humans are the only species on the planet that kill their own. Think about it.

Congratulations

Madison just passed the late term abortion bill.

Go to google.com/images and type in "late term abortion". You will find photos of exactly what this means for Americans... especially ones that cannot be born.

Congratulations, America.

Say No To The Stimulus

New versions of the stiumuls plan are currently being dicussed in the House and Senate, and the whirlwind of controversy doesn't seem to be coming to an end.

People seem to be frustrated over the lack of bi-partisanship concerning the bill, and the finger is being wagged out House and Senate Republicans... not surprisingly.

The fact is this: Republicans don't want to watch America go down in flames. They don't want American taxpayers to suffer due to poor spending choices made on their behalf.

Obama wrote an opinion piece in the Washington Post where he made his case for urgency. One key quote I picked up was this:

"What Americans expect from Washington is action that matches the urgency they feel in their daily lives -- action that's swift, bold and wise enough for us to climb out of this crisis,"

Alright... there are many things wrong with his statement.

First, he's calling for swift action. Yes, of course he is. The faster he can push through this pork-filled bill, the more junk he can attach to it without having to explain it to taxpayers. All politicians have to do what they can for their districts and make good on their promises, but the thing is, I don't really feel like paying for a mob museum for the people of Las Vegas. It's stupid. Things like that have polluted the bill, which at this point as lost all the key components of what it was originally meant to do... which is help the country come back from our recession.

Second, he wants to be bold. I think he is being bold, actually... in the fact that he feels he can take advantage of his position by screwing over the people. We know that the democrats that are pushing for this ridiculous bill don't pay their taxes, so obviously they have no stake in it. They see money to satisfy their re-election needs, and don't bat an eyelash at the pricetag. Listen, I refuse to put money toward the re-election of Nanci Pelosi. Bold action? Yeah, I'd say committing robbery against the American public as a president is bold.

Third, he wants wise action to be taken. Someone please tell me what is wise about this bill? Most of the jobs lost have been blue-collar jobs in manufacturing particularly. The very wise stiumlus bill proposed will send money to things such as urban forestry and training doctors and nurses how to work in a socialized healthcare setting. Wise? I think not. That isn't job creation... at least not creation that will stand the test of time. All the plans in this bill will fall apart within a few years, or they won't go into effect for years. How does that help Americans now?

Another problem? The fact that Americans are depending on this bill at all. I'm not being fair to the democrats here, Americans are also to blame. They have taken on the role of victim and expect the government to hold their hand through tough times. Since when are Americans dependent and weak? I've always thought this was the greatest country in the world where strong, independent people lived. It seems to me that we are giving up our freedom and independence for a quick fix and easy road. The fact is that if we give in to such ridiculous ideas now, we will just push ourselves further into dependency.

I, for one, want to stand on my own two feet. I don't want the government to be messing around in my business. I'm a struggling college student. I don't have any money. My family doesn't have much money either... but we're not about to go ask for handouts from the government. It's a part of life that people have good times and they have bad times. How someone handles the bad times is what makes them stronger and stronger. Tough times builds the character that is needed to keep America at the top of the world totem pole. Why has everyone forgotten that? Why is it okay to throw in the towel and beg for government assistance? Are we really that weak?

The "action" that needs to be taken shouldn't be taking place in Washington DC. It should be happening in the homes of Americans. We should be tightening our belts and braving the storm. If you don't have money, then you need to give up some luxuries that has made you soft.

What am I talking about?

How many Americans have cable? How many have cell phones? Multiple televisions and cars? Think about it. We are so blessed in this country that we come to expect the luxury items that we enjoy. Everything past food, water, and shelter are just pork.

I'm sick of the comparisons between our recession and The Great Depression. Have any of you looked at the pictures from that time or done any reading about it? Do you think our grandparents were asking the government for assistance so they could keep their... cable? I don't think so. They couldn't put food on the table. Go look in your cabinet and think about how much food you have in there. We are not nearly at that point, so get over yourselves.

President Obama, his team, and the media are blowing this situation way out of proportion, and Americans are letting themselves get carried away in the crosswinds. Instead of believing the hype, look into the situation, look at your own situation and please think about how blessed you truly are. We don't need this ridiculous stimulus package. What we need is a kick in the pants and a push off the couch. Oprah won't help your situation, and neither will Katie Couric.

Be smart. Let your congressmen know you don't need that bill and get working. The recession isn't as bad as it seems, and with hard work we can pull ourselves back up. It's the American way. Let's not be France... that won't work for anyone.

The Race Thing... I'm Over It.

Michael Steele no doubt was a good choice for Republican Chairman... however, just as I have a problem with labeling Obama, I have a problem with labeling Steele.

As reported on newstalk1130.com, The Repubican Party has indeed chosen it's " first black chairman" but really, does it matter that he's black?

I'm sick of the role that race is playing everywhere these days. Why aren't we all just Americans, plain and simple? Race doesn't effect politics and how they work... well, at least it shouldn't.

There have been accusations from the left that Republicans have only chosen Steele because of the fact that he's black. Shouldn't anyone acknowledge the fact that he's qualified?

Also, it's ridiculous that there seems to be a competition over which party can acquire more black people. Again, why does it matter? We aren't white and black, we are Americans.

The article makes a point further down to mention that "The Democratic Party elected its first black chairman, Ron Brown, in 1989".

Is that really relevant? Seriously, give me a break! Who cares if the Democrats had a black chairman first? They're always the first to make foolish legislation too, but I don't see them publicizing that. Liberals now are just angry because we have a highly intelligent and capable man at the helm of the party. It's not about race. It's about qualification. Of course they had the first black chairman, but how qualified was he? I mean, he was the poster child for Pepsi when he was a child. (I don't want to hear comments about Reagan's movie career... thanks)

Alright, I'm not being fair. I'm not an expert on the career of Ron Brown. Maybe he was qualified... for a a position in the democratic party. The qualifications for such positions must be pretty low.

My point is, everyone needs to get over the race card. It's been overplayed. The hand is old. Everyone has seen it, used it, and abused it. It's time to get past it and look at a man for his abilities at his appointed position. Whether we're talking about Michael Steel or Barack Obama, race shouldn't be a factor. It never should have been in the first place, but certainly not anymore.

For a country that likes to think it's not racist, we sure put a lot of emphasis on the subject. GET OVER IT.... we're Americans. I don't know how many times I should say it. Hopefully it sinks in.

Liberals, please for once just shut up. We elected Steele because he's the best man for the job, not because he's black. Just like you elected Obama... because he's (the best man for the job...?) not because he's black. Or maybe you did... and that's why you have a hard time understanding our decision on Steele.

Well, whatever. Get over it. The race thing needs to disappear. We're Americans first. Americans.

Thanks for Being "responsible", Mr. President!

The interview between Chris Wallace and President Obama is really annoying. I know that through the entire election process, he's been some kind of savior to millions... but hey, he's in office now. We have some serious problems. It's about time we stop worshiping and start holding the man accountable. We can't do that by praising every "right" move he makes, which any decent human being should make anyway.

While browsing Foxnews.com's blogs, I came across one by Betsy Newmark. The opening lines were: "I give Obama credit for doing on all those network and cable interviews yesterday in the midst of the whole fallout from the Daschle debacle and taking blame by telling ABC News “I screwed up.” He admitted to FOX News’ Chris Wallace that he shouldn’t have a double standard on taxpaying."

Listen, folks, this is ridiculous. Does he really deserve credit for admitting that he was being foolish with his cabinet picks? NO! People make mistakes and take credit for them all the time. Even former democratic President Clinton took credit for his mistakes, and he's a sleeze. The only difference is that the media wasn't all over it, giving him praise and respect. They tore him apart in the media.

What makes Clinton and Obama different? They are both democrats. They both made mistakes. They both took responsibility for them. In fact, I'll go as far as to say that Obama's mistake is worse, because he is dealing with people that effect the lives of all Americans. Clinton was just effecting Hillary, and really now... who cares about Hillary? They don't even sleep in the same bedroom, what would she care that he's cheating with an intern?

The difference is that Obama is black. Wow, sorry... should I not have said that?

Since he's a "history maker" and symbolizes a "new America" he is invinsible when it comes to criticism. It makes me angry. He is the president now, which mean he is not black. Color has no place in his ability to govern. So who cares? The media needs to stop giving him breaks on his stupidity just because of his skin color. Get real here. You guys hate racism, so stop playing into it. We are all Americans, so lets be treated the same whether black, white, yellow, green or whatever.

The bottom line is that yes, Obama messed up. Yes, Obama took credit for it. But he SHOULD NOT be patted on the back for it. Any decent person would do the same, and in fact, do everyday. So get over yourselves, news media. Grow some balls and find it in your journalistic agendas to get down to business and criticize his poor choices. Three tax-fraud nominees is a big deal. This is your money he's playing with. If nothing else, shouldn't you care where it's going?

Let's get real guys, and do some responsible reporting. I don't give a crap about his apology. I would rather hear about how he's going to get rid of the ridiculous pork in the stimulus bill. That would be great, thanks.

Partial Birth Abortion

From silence to chaos I'm being tossed in the womb
My mother's heart is beating faster and so is mine
I hear voices outside and begin to be pushed
It's not quite nine months but maybe it's time

I lean forward, head first, I'm ready to go
The movement is real, I'll head for the light
Before it begins I feel something turn me around
It grabs at my feet, something's not right

My head is spinning and the voices are dim
I want to stay before comfort is out of reach
This is all wrong, I shouldn't be backward
This isn't routine, I wasn't meant to be breech

I feel the cold air on my skin and I move
Strong hands grib my legs, feet, and belly
I begin to get squeezed with my head still inside
And I feel a cold touch of gelly

Suddenly a sharp pain shoots the back of my head
I scream but no one can hear me
I don't know what's happening but the pain is too much
I thought I'd be safe, how can this be?

I hear a loud suction before my senses give 'way
My body's convulsing at quarter to seven
The noises grow faint and the agony subsides
I kick one last time before God brings me to Heaven.

For anyone who may not know, partial birth abortions are happening and they are vicious murders. Babies, up to one day before their due date, are being killed across the country. The process is gross and although it hurts my heart to hear it, think about, speak it... everyone should understand so that maybe there can be an end to the murder.

During partial birth abortions, doctors pull the babies by their feet down the birth canal. Since 80% of the babies are normal and functioning correctly, doctors must breech so that the babies don't cry. Doctors deliver the baby almost all the way, leaving only the head inside the mother.

A scissors is then jammed into the back of the partially born baby's skull, puncturing it. A tube is inserted into the hole, and the brains of the baby are sucked out, thus killing the child. After the baby's head is deflated, it is pulled out and disposed of.

When I first read about this horrifying proceedure, I cried. My stomach turned and I was upset for a long time after. I'm still upset now. It's horrible what they are doing. Since when is murder allowed in this country? I'm outraged that there are people who believe is such acts of cruelty and murder... but I'm more outraged that there aren't more people speaking up.

I'm prolife. Plain and simple. There are no "ifs, ands, or butts" about the subject. Abortion is murder. I don't care what anyone says, there is no excuse for murdering a child. And yes, it is a child from the first second of conception.

There is the argument that it's not a real child while it's a fetus... that's up for others to discuss. But honestly, in the third term, at the time that partial birth abortions take place, the baby looks like a baby. There is not mistaking that the child is a true living, breathing person. If delivered fully, the baby would be a fully functioning premature child. How can anyone get away with killing a child that is in the process of being born? Can someone explain the logic behind it? I can't wrap my mind around the idea. You are killing a child that is being born... I DON'T GET IT!

This past Thursday in Madison, prolife activists were protesting to try and convince lawmakers at the state level to re-instate the ban on partial birth abortions. Hopefully the state can put 2 and 2 together and realize that murder is wrong and judge on the side of life, but in our morally distraught world, who knows what will happen.

I get heated on this subject, obviously, and for good reason. Abortion is murder no matter which way you look at it. But for those who are not solidly convinced, I'll leave with some great words from a great man:

"I've noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born"

"Make no mistake, abortion-on-demand is not a right granted by the Constitution"

"We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life."

"Regrettably, we live at a time when some persons do not value all human life. They want to pick and choose which individuals have value."

"We must all educate ourselves to the reality of the horrors taking place. Doctors today know that unborn children can feel a touch within the womb and that they respond to pain."

"We cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide. My Administration is dedicated to the preservation of America as a free land, and there is no cause more important for preserving that freedom than affirming the transcendent right to life of all human beings, the right without which no other rights have any meaning. "

Words of Wisdom by Ronald Reagan.

The Things People Say

It's amazing the types of things you hear on a daily basis around a college campus. Without even trying, you can discover things that you were never suppose to hear, or that you ever wanted to hear.

For example, today in my comparative politics class, my instructor (I don't believe she is a professor, but rather a librarian at the Milwaukee Zoo library who fancies herself an intellectual) stated the greatness of socialism. Now, I'm sure that if she wanted to keep that a secret, she wouldn't have muttered it in class loud enough for me to hear while sitting in the front row. However, that is a disturbing piece of information that, while it's a good thing to know, is something I'd rather not think about. My instructor supports socialism. My guess is that she supports Obama as well.

Moving on...

In my constitution class, we were discussing Richard Weaver's book Ideas Have Consequences. One girl in the class brought up a passage about the masculinity of modern women, and asked why there is still discrimination against a growing population of many women. Now, there are certain things that make me angry about the treatment of women. One being that in some areas of the workforce, they still don't get paid the same for the same job. (Obama pays his women $.83 to a man's $1.00 in case you were wondering) That being said, I'm not a crazy feminist who believes women can do anything a man can. For example, I cannot be an effective firefighter. I'm too small and to weak. I'll leave that to a man to do, and I'll use my God-given talents somewhere else. But that's beside the point. What I'm getting at is the fact that this girl was suggesting that women are discriminated against and should be treated equally in every aspect of life. I disagree, and I wish that I could slap some sense into the girl.

Men and women are created differently, not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally. Studies prove it. Read a book, damnit. Not every woman can do a job a man can at the same capacity. Likewise, not every man can do the same job as well as a woman. It's just the way it is, and ridiculous feminst types need to wake up and realize that. Maybe if they did, they would lead much happier lives, and be far less stressed out.

Another interesting thing I heard today was directed at me. Well, not directly, but indirectly.

During my nutrition class, I couldn't hear my professor due to two very obnoxious girls sitting behind me. They would not stop chatting about everything except the material being covered in class. Realizing I wouldn't get much out of sitting there watching the teacher, I read a book that I've been devouring for the past week. This fantastic book is by Phil Valentino, and it's called The Conservative's Handbook. ( I highly recommend it) While I was reading, the girls behind me caught a glimpse of the title of my book. They immidiately switched their conversation from one of the having sex with a thirty-five year old, to me and how ridiculous I was for reading such garbage. The conversation moved forward with rhetoric about how great Obama was, how bad Bush sucked, and how stupid they thought all republicans were for being closed minded to change. You know, the usual.

It didn't shock me that they were saying those kinds of things, but it did surprise me that they wouldn't even have the decency to whisper. They said it out loud. I could hear it, everyone around could hear it. IN fact, some kids near me leaned over to check out my book.

Good... I hope they go out and purchase a copy.

In any event, it's annoying the things that people say. That garbage is littered all around the Marquette campus. In lecture halls, dining halls, and on the streets. Ridiculous people are saying outrageous things, and in some circumstances, dangerous... and no one is holding them responsible. No one is saying anything to them to combat their shallow thought processes. It's a crime, really, that I can pay $28,000 per year to go to a school full of idiots.

At least it's not somewhere like UW-Madison, I suppose. If I went there I wouldn't have any friends at all.

More than anything, be aware of what's happening around you. Anywhere you go, there will be an out of touch liberal there to say something that will make you upset. If you can pick it out, you can nail them for it and expose them for the hypocrits they are, and if you get nothing else from it... maybe you can get some relief for your own soul. I know that I do.

Speak Up

Sometimes it seems that there aren't many smart people in this country, and by smart, I mean conservative. However, lately I keep getting surprised.

More people that I've realized are actually conservatives, which obviously is a good thing. However, when I think about it, it's weird to me that I never knew before. This thought got me thinking further: conservatives are hiding.

Why is this?

There seems to be so much pressure to play for the blue team that people just keep their mouths shut about what they really think. I realize of course, that not everyone is a political junkie and that they aren't willing to stick their necks out to cause trouble. People worry about what others think of them, and don't want to cause controversy.

To an extent though, it's horrible to know that there are people who have it right but are too afraid to speak up. They are afraid to be who they are due to intese criticism. That's a shame. WHen people cannot be who they are because of a political group, there is something terribly wrong.

There is a very real chance that this country will continue down the path of destruction under liberal rule if the conservatives don't stand up and make some noise. Now, more than ever, is the time to stand up and question authority. Never stop asking questions, take no politician or Obama supporter prisoner. If they believe so deeply that they are right, then we need to make them prove it. Demand explainations. Demand you know where your money is going to. Hold the Obama administration accountable for their actions.

Conservatives, this is the time to come together and speak as one voice. We need to make sure that everyone knows exactly what is happening with their government and show them, at the very least, that there are grave issues that need to be fixed before they ruin everything this country stands for. The foundations are crumbling all around us, and if we don't make some noise now, it may be too late later. Let's not wait until it's so bad that it cannot be corrected, stand up and raise your voices now! Now is the time to regroup and make the GOP the GRAND old party once again. It's going to start with the base, the foundation, the conservatives. We can revamp the party and get this country back on track.

So, my point is that we cannot hide. Don't blend in with the masses of Obama worshipers. Don't be afraid to show yourselves for what you are: right. We shouldn't be ashamed or embarassed for being consevatives. We are what make this nation great. Stop hiding, start talking.

Sharing the Love

I want to comment on the love I've been receiving from people who don't appreciate my point of view. When I say love, I mean hate.

I got some ridiculously hateful text messages on my phone not too far back that began as digs on my political beliefs, which quickly moved to cuts at me personally.

Now, although I didn't have that phone number programmed in my phone, I quickly figured out who the culprit was. It was amusing to me that such a person would go out of their way to find my number and send me harassing messages. First, I haven't seen that particular person in years, and second, I have never had a personal issue with them personally.

If that person ever gets a hold of this post, I just want to let you know that I'm sure you thought it was a great idea at the time, and that you were hurting my feelings. Truthfully, it's just a little more proof that liberals are hypocrits and have nothing better to do that pick fights with others. I sincerely pray that you can find something more productive to do with your time. You could never hurt me because I don't think enough of you to let anything you say get to me.

Besides simple text messages, I received a slew of phone calls with restricted numbers. The person on the other end would say one hateful verse and hang up the phone. This was happening periodically, and one time they threatened to kill me. I didn't realize I was that huge of a threat to anyone, but hey... just remember that I believe in my second ammendment rights. Think about it.

By the way... where are you all getting my phone number?

Email has been a popular choice for spreading the love from liberals to me. The emails, by far, have been the best. People don't censor themselves over email, and they don't try to hide who they are either. It amazes me that I get these emails and then I'll see the same people at school the next day. They look at me as they walk by totally unphased. They don't seem embarassed or ashamed of their behavior. They walk by as if nothing ever happened, which in reality, nothing ever did. If I sent someone a terrible email, I would be horrified to see them the next day, or any day after that unless I was willing to say the same things to their face. I suppose that's the great thing about liberals at Marquette; they have no shame. But hey, that's liberals everywhere.

I guess I just want to point out, as I have in the past, that liberals are always preaching about love, tollerance, and open mindedness. They fail to practice what they preach. The hypocrasy still amazes me, even after I see it day after day. They have love for each other, but if you don't think exactly as they do, then you get nothing but hate. Interesting, isn't it?

I'd like to say that I enjoy the hate mail. It gives me a laugh and more basis to say that liberals are ridiculous. If you have something to say to me, though, it would be better for you to approach me personally. I'd much rather do that, because it's too easy to hide behind a keyboard.

Share the love, not the hypocracy.

BTW: To my lovely text message sender... I would seriously reconsider sending the type of things that you do when you're not accurate on your facts. That's a huge liability. Also, there can be reprecussions of your actions that will land on more than just you, not only now but in the future. It's not smart to burn your bridges when you live in the Great Lakes region. =)

Also, your brother is in one of my classes. ;)

Mission Accomplished

Many, many times I have believed that liberals have hit their lowest low. I am always amazed when they prove me wrong, and do something that is so disgraceful that it beats the previous thing. Never has this been truer than on national Obama day.

On Tuesday, January 21st I had five classes. Thank goodness. Otherwise I may have been tempted to watch the junk on the tube. However, I coudln't escape the circus because it was everywhere. So on my way to school the next morning, as usual, I turned on Newstalk 1130. I was just in time to hear a soundbyte from the day before... the worst soundbyte I've ever heard. I can't lie to you, I cried when I heard it. It was out of anger, maybe out of sheer sadness for how far this country has fallen, but it any case, I certainly did shed some tears.

The clip was of Americans outside the White House singing a particular song to Former President Bush. I'm sure you've all heard it. "Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye".

Wow.

In no circumstance is it appropriate to bid farewell to an American president in such a fashion. It was the most shameful display of liberal stupidity I have ever heard. Whether or not you loved Bush or hated him, agreed with him or opposed, you do NOT disrespect an American hero in such a manner. That is what George W. Bush is. A hero.

Again, I won't lie to you. I think that Obama is going to be terrible as president. His policy is ridiculous, and the circus that surrounds him is also insane. However, I would never disrespect him in any manner, especially not him as a person. First of all, I can have my opinions but that doesn't always mean they are correct. Second, I do not know him personally, so I can't be a judge for his character. I see what he has done so far, and from what I've seen of his actions, I believe him to be foolish. But still, if I ever met him, I would treat him with the respect he deserves as America's president. If he were leaving the White House (which I wish he would) I would never give him such an appalling send off.

Former President George W. Bush was a great leader. He was able to make tough decisions and made them in hard times. He always pursued the road that he believed to be best for this country and all citizens. He had a strong moral compass and he was ALWAYS an American first. He did not deserve such a disrespectful goodbye from his home of eight years. Can you imagine how that must have felt for him as he was leaving? How would you feel? After dedicating your life to a country twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for eight years... that is the thanks you get for doing your absolute best, every day. I can't imagine it. I don't want to.

I personally would like to thank the former president for keeping me safe from all American enemies. For keeping my interests at heart and remembering that America is built on hardworking, honest people. He is a great American and was the best man for the job during his two terms. No one else could have handled his job with as much class and virtue during such difficult cirumstances.

If you are a liberal reading this, I hope you're ashamed of yourself even though I'm sure you're not. Someday I hope you recongnize, at least at a human level, the amount of work he put in to preserve your right to criticize him and be eternally obnoxious.

President Bush... Mission Accomplished.

Liberals are like Cancer for America

I've been thinking a lot about liberals for the past few months. I've been trying to wrap my mind around some of the things they say and do. I desperately want to understand where they are coming from so that I can evaluate my stance, and see if there is middle ground. I hate to be so extremely partisan that I come off as unreasonable or closed minded.

The more I think about it, the less I can budge from where I stand. In fact, I'm going so far as to say that liberals are like cancer to America. They are eating away at the American body and eventually, they are going to kill the greatest state in the world.

I have dozens of examples of why I believe that to be true, but I'll spare you and only offer a few.

First: American Education

Liberal teachers across the country at every age level are polluting children's impressionable minds with their agendas... political agendas.

During one of my high school medical occupation classes, the teacher made us watch a movie about AIDS. Obviously, it was geared toward not only awareness, but toward sympathy and acceptance for homosexuals. For most kids, I'm sure they didn't watch the movie and realize they were being exposed to subliminal messages. For me... it just made me angry.

A grosser example: In Provincetown, MA the school boards have voted to begin teaching preschoolers about homosexuality. Preschoolers.

Really?

Liberal educators. American cancer number 1.

Second: American Media

Now look, I understand that the media gets blamed for a lot of garbage these days. I would feel bad for them, except they truly are junk journalists for the most part. As a media person, I understand that it's easy and fast to just take the liberal side of issues. However, it's not ethical and it's leading to the decay of an already dumbing American public.

Since most Americans believe the junk they see on TV or read in newspapers, it's even more important for journalists to behave responsibly. Do they do that? No. They report with a liberal spin and people believe every word, especially young kids who don't have the proper training to see past the partisan language.

A personal example. My step brother enjoys bothering me every way he can. One way he does this is by picking up newspapers, reading a little bit of an article, and telling me about it. Since every newspaper and magazine in the past few weeks has had no content other than Obama and his rise to power, that's all I hear from my step brother. He's 12 years old and he thinks that since he reads it in the newspaper that it must be true. Great. Pretty soon he'll be annoying and liberal.

Liberal media: American cancer number 2.

Third: American government

Is that too broad? I don't care if you think it is because this area allows for lost Republicans to seep through the cracks and add to the mayhem caused by the liberals. Liberal representatives in government are some of the most ridiculous people in this country. They hype issues up that they deem important, and skim on things that really need attention.

Example? Hmm, what is new in the news today... oh yeah. THE STIMULUS!

Wow. So the stimulus package has been passed. Great. I wonder if many people know the types of projects that money will be going toward. ACORN, for one, will be getting a large chunk of that money. Also on that list are bee keepers and a mob musuem in Las Vegas. Those facts, by the way, I got from Vicki McKenna. But alright, so liberals pushed and pushed for this ridiculous stimulus package that won't be helping create jobs or wealth in this country. It's just a list of things liberals have wanted to do but couldn't for the past eight years because Bush wouldn't let such shenanegins happen under his watchful eye.

Republicans are starting to act as liberals when these bailouts and stimulous packages are concerned. They are rolling over and playing dead while the democrats walk all over them. Republicans... that is not being bi-partisan, that is being JUST PLAIN STUIPID!

Liberal government (some Republicans included): American cancer number 3.

There are many more. These are just a few that are bugging me right now. Issues like these are eating away at the fabric of American society. The longer we let it happen, the worse it will become until the country falls apart. When I say fall apart, I mean that we're going to go bankrupt and we will all be reduced to wretched shells of what we used to be. Our money will be stolen away in taxes for federal funded programs. Our values will disappear due to total acceptance of every lifestyle choice imaginable. It will go way beyond homosexuality people, mark my words. If we let it happen, it will.

Conservativism is the chemotherapy to the liberal cancer. The country needs help, and hopefully it will realize it before the cancer eats it alive.

Obama Billboards

Driving around Milwaukee has been irritating for the past few months due to all the Obama propoganda.

For example, eastbound 94, just past Mooreland Rd. there is a union sign spouting unity under his leadership... or some crap like that. I hate seeing it. It instantly dampers my morning commute.

Another example. Getting off the freeway at the 26th street exit, there is a billboard to the upper left. It's not for Obama, but it's liberal. There is a picture of an oil field and a corn field. It says "Their oil fields... our corn fields" and that also makes me grit my teeth as I drive to school.

Those things, as well as all the bumper stickers and listening to talk radio really get me heated, but recently the line has been crossed. Milwaukee has hit a new low, along with the rest of the country.

Clearchannel has posted billboards all around Milwaukee with Obama's face on it. Underneath it reads: "Yes We Can"

Are you kidding me?

I guess since Clearchannel owns the media, they can put whatever they want on their billboards, but it honestly makes me sick. What is it that "we can" do? Ruin the country? Corrupt young minds into thinking that Obama's warped views on public policy are earth shattering and groundbreaking? I mean really.

The best part about it is that Clearchannel owns Newstalk 1130, home of the Conservative voices of this country. As I was listening this morning, Vicki McKenna was saying how she was getting crap at work for making a comment about the billboards, since it was against Clearchannel, the owner of the company she worked for. THank goodness there are good people out there who called the station to say that she wasn't in the wrong.

Not only are the media corporations now endorsing bad politics, but they are trying to censor their own people. Give me a break. What happened to responsible journalism?

I suppose it died along with the belief that Americans can think for themselves and make wise decisions concerning their government and their freedoms.
